Individual Tax Organizer through SafeSend Gather

Hello,

We are excited to announce that your Income Tax Organizers and Engagement Letters will be delivered electronically via SafeSend Gather in the next week or two! The new system is part of SafeSend, the same system that you have been using to review, electronically sign, and download copies of your returns. It’s more intuitive, easier to navigate, and will make it simpler for our staff to access and organize your documents in real-time.

If you have entity returns that we prepare, you will receive your engagement letter and document request with an upload link via SafeSend Gather soon as well. You will receive separate emails for your individual return and each entity return.

This will replace the NetClient CS portal that you may have previously accessed through the www.rushton.cpa  website. You will have access to the old NetClient portal until May 1, 2025 to download any documents you may have stored there, but please do NOT upload any new documents to the old portal. To access the old NetClient portal, got to https://www.rushton.cpa//new-client-access and scroll down until you see the NetClient Access Portal login.

Implementing SafeSend Gather will allow us to complete the tax return preparation and delivery process in a completely paperless and secure manner from start to finish.

  • You will receive an email from Rushton at noreply@safesendreturns.com. Add this email to your safe list to prevent it from being categorized as spam or junk.
  • For the best experience, we recommend using Google Chrome.

Once you have gained access to your tax organizer you will be able to:

  • Electronically sign your Engagement Letter and other forms requiring signature
  • Answer your Questionnaire
  • Fill out your Organizer for Individual Returns
  • Upload Source Documents

The benefits of sending your tax organizer electronically include:

  • Increased security around the sharing of your confidential tax documents
  • Improved efficiency in sharing documents with your preparer
  • Simultaneous access to the same tax documents – you will retain a copy of all information you provide us through the software, which means you will not have to wait for us to process and return any documents to you that you may need as we complete your tax return.

The following short video and guide will walk you through the organizer experience.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your preparer.
